Specialty Silicone Products launches new website

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y.—Specialty Silicone Products Inc. now has a new website as sleek as the F-35 Lightning II that greets visitors on the opening screen.

The producer of highly specialized silicones for a range of industries, including aerospace and defense, launched the new site Aug. 2.

"Demand for EMI shielding in markets such as electric vehicles, 5G communications and robotics is growing," said Dominic Testo, SSP's business development manager. "This new website will make it easier than ever to find EMI silicones, and with shorter lead times and lower minimum order quantities."

The site features a powerful search engine for products, technical and safety data sheets, testing reports and white papers.

Specifically, SSP makes EMI/RFI shielding silicones and FDA-compliant USP Class VI silicones in sheets, rolls and moldable compounds (as well as aerospace and defense applications, such as seals for harsh salt spray on military vessels).

For flame-retardant EMI shielding silicones, SSP sells several discontinued materials from W.L. Gore & Associates. The company also makes EMI conductive O-rings, EMI extrusions, molded and die-cut EMI gaskets, and chromatography products.

SSP was founded in 1989 and acquired by Heico Corp. in 2018.
